Top winning breeder of 2003

1. (Irish setters) Kennel "Irish Melody" owner Kaja Koger

Kennel Irish Melody is very lucky because of its puppy owners. Thanks for them Irish Melody dogs are famous in Estonia and also elsewhere in Europe. I thank all of them, who have raised Irish Melody puppies to wonderful setters and who have shown their dogs as well in big and also in small dog shows. Thank you very much!

2. (Irish setters) Kennel "Karmino" owner Kristina & Donatas Olsauskai

Our kennel is a family lifestyle. We had been interested in canines for the most of our matured life. Our young family consisted of 4 persons right from the start – 7-year-old Irish setter Lokas was a great company for our newborn son Kristijonas. Lokas was so special dog for us, so intelligent, patient and forgiving with our little monster kid, that it had never a question about which breed should we choose for our future. Lokas lived with us until a respectful age of 13 years, happy and joyful till the end. But even with his passing we were not left without Irish setters. In 1997, being 10 weeks old, from far away USA arrived our Meadowlark’s Midas Touch. He is the first our real show dog. We would like to thank Midas breeder Rose Marie Ross for giving us such a wonderful dog and an exquisite personality. One year later our family got bigger with the arrival of a first canine female – from Finland we’ve got Chic Choix East of Eden (breeder Juha Kares). She has proved to be our little angel and a matriarch of our gang. Midas and Eden were fundamental for Karmino Made kennel. With their first litter in year 2000 our kennel really came into being. Until now we had 4 litters born. Now we have 4 dogs, all of them are living in our home and are family members. Being a family member is the least we expect from the owners of our puppies – each must accept the fact that dog is not just for Christmas – it’s for the whole life. We love our dogs very much and hope that everybody else will. Consequently, the main courses of breeding in our kennel are HEALTH, CHARACTER and lastly BEAUTY. We believe that our course is right and future Irish setters will bring lots of joy and happiness to their owners and all around.
